Writing for purpose

Language can be a great enabler of change efforts or a huge barrier. While academics and design professionals have been writing about systems and change processes for a long time, too often the language prevents community-wide understanding of what’s possible. And that’s a problem.

The most useful reports, articles and how-to’s are those that are easily understood, used and shared.

Prior to launching UpSocial Canada in 2018, Geraldine Cahill had been writing about systems, policy, experimentation and change projects for more than decade. She’s developed profiles on inspiring change leaders and social innovators, drafted policy reports and media briefs. Geraldine can help illuminate your latests findings or put a new spin on your annual report.

Below are a few samples of her writing over recent years. Naturally, you can also visit the blog. If you would like some support in sharing your stories, get in touch.

“your article is ever so good Geraldine, not just for technical content or inspiration but to read a level of prose to aspire to.”
